Why the Business Name, “Leadership Passport”?

The name Leadership Passport was originally conceived as the title of a book. As I reflected on what leadership truly requires, I recognized a meaningful parallel between obtaining a passport and becoming an effective leader.

Just as individuals must meet specific requirements to obtain a passport before they can travel to new destinations and opportunities, leaders must also develop the character, competence, and commitment to continuous growth necessary to lead others with integrity, credibility, and lasting influence.

Leadership is not defined by a title or position—it is demonstrated through the choices we make, the example we set, and the impact we have on others. Every individual has the opportunity to lead by example and become a standard of leadership excellence that others respect, trust, and emulate.

As the vision expanded, Leadership Passport evolved from a book title into the name of my company because it represented something much greater—a trusted partner helping leaders and organizations navigate complexity with clarity, purpose, and confidence.

Today, Leadership Passport partners with leaders and organizations through strategic consulting, fractional leadership, organizational transformation, leadership development, executive coaching, and customized solutions that strengthen leadership, align strategy with execution, cultivate thriving cultures, and achieve exceptional results.

Just as a passport opens doors and expands possibilities, Leadership Passport helps leaders and organizations move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose—creating environments where people and organizations thrive together.

"Before working with Janice and the Leadership Passport, I was 'quietly' experiencing a significant amount of work frustration and feeling as if I had no voice.
While working with Janice, I was reminded of how powerful my voice and actions really are.
I was able to commit myself to speaking not only for myself,
but also in preparation for the legacy that I am to leave behind.
Since working with Janice, the challenges have become even more difficult. I find myself thinking strategically and speaking instead of just feeling angry or disrespected.”
