"THRIVE Leadership course has provided me valuable tools to address not just the challenges I face on my team at work.  This course does an amazing job at showing how the leadership skills that we build and hone for our work environments carry over to all parts of our lives, and also encouraged me to think about my influence over my family and friends.  

I started taking this course during a period of potential change and uncertainty at my work.  This course seemed to speak directly to the issues that I was facing, encouraging me to focus on building a culture of stability within my team that would counteract some of the uncertainties that people were facing.  Learning from Janice’s expertise was outstanding in its own right, and she provided practical exercises and insights that enabled me to begin formulating my communication to the team.  Further, having the ability to learn from the rest of the cohort was a fantastic experience.  Coming from a government background, I was initially thinking that some of the challenges we were facing were unique, and it was shocking to me how much practical advice I pulled from the rest of the cohort — from people who had backgrounds in Human Resources or  Business/Marketing.  I literally would take scenarios from our discussion in the course, and would use similar language/techniques with my team.  One of my subordinates recently commented to me how much he appreciated my approach to leadership, and how much he had learned from working for me.  I have been regularly receiving this type of feedback from my subordinates since I started taking this course.  

There are so many reasons I would recommend this course to others.  First, regardless of our experience level or role within an organization or unit, we should all recognize that we can always try to be better.  Leadership is such a critical part of any organization, and we should be striving at all times to learn how to be better leaders at all levels of an organization.  Second, Janice has put together a course that is fun and insightful and engaging.  I have taken many leadership courses in my career, and I can say unequivocally that this has been the most useful course I have taken and certainly the most engaging and fun.  Finally, having the ability to engage with leaders across various business sectors is really valuable and incredibly unique."
